It's that time again!
Join us for some in-person fun on Sunday, September 24 at 2 p.m.
We'll be in the upper classroom.
Song Circle--old favorites and what-ya-got-new,
and we'll "circle back" on the topic of how to use a capo when playing with others.
How to use a capo to create a fuller sound when playing with a group of guitars. Play in the same key by playing different chord shapes while using a capo. For example: If a song is written in the key of C you can place a capo on fret five and play an G shape chord and it will sound like an open C chord. So if you have a simple I-IV-V song written in the key of C you would play C-F-G. At fret five you would play G-C-D and it will sound like C-F-G.
